It has always been my desire to help provide patients and their loved ones with individualized support and guidance that a traditional healthcare system cannot handle. Being born different in a world that caters to the “normal” and being in a position of needing an advocate whilst being a long-term patient in the medical field has led me to the field of social work. My years of diversified experience in human services and healthcare settings have ignited my unwavering commitment to the social work profession.
I am a dedicated Social Worker with a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in social work, uniquely equipped to be your patient advocate. I’ve supported clients through complex medical crises, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights protected within the healthcare system.
Recognized by peers and supervisors as passionate, resilient, and unwavering in my advocacy, I’ve held diverse roles—Medical Social Worker, Family-Based Therapist, Behavioral Therapist, Protective Services Investigator, and more.
This wide-ranging experience has given me deep insight into navigating complex healthcare systems and understanding the diverse needs of individuals across the lifespan—including older adults; individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; those with co-occurring physical, cognitive, or neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injuries and dementia; and individuals with mental health diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD), depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.
Rooted in strong communication and collaboration, I’ve built trusted relationships with patients, families, providers, and agencies throughout Westmoreland, Allegheny, and Washington counties.
No matter the role, my goal has always been the same: to empower, protect, and elevate my clients’ voices in every decision that affects them. Let me be your advocate.
